The new plant-based “menu within a menu” at Monteverde Lodge offers vegetarian dinners like pumpkin risotto, bean stew served with handmade chickpeas gnocchi and chard , cauliflower tempura with grilled pineapple , pine nuts and yellow curry sauce or a delicious eggplant with miso glaze, quinoa salad with olives & cranberries, chickpeas humus sauce.
El Jardin Restaurant delights guests with its garden views. As one of the top restaurants in Santa Elena, we offer an array of authentic Costa Rican, American and European fusion dishes. We gather the best ingredients from local farmers and artisan fishermen from the Pacific Coast to ensure a dining experience that is not only delicious but sustainable.
Guests can also enjoy food and drinks by our serene, free-form pool or in the Lodge’s roofed terrace overlooking the surrounding cloud forest. Additionally, we have a special table for romantic, private, candlelit dinners in the indoor butterfly garden.
